Firefly 07 ‘Jaynestown’

My name is David Dent and I , My wife Heather Ackroyd and two friends (Tim Brown and Sheri Page) decided to record our own commentary track for some Firefly episodes.

It was pretty simple, with a cheapo microphone I bought at Office Depot and a laptop computer set up with the freeware program Audacity we sat down to watch episodes of Firefly and just talk all through it.

We did pretty much what Browncoats already do, just louder and recording as we went. It was HUGE fun to do because we couldn’t go back, if we missed a comment we had to let it go, we had to keep talking and we wanted to share.

I am planning to put up a page at the very least with more info on HOW we did it, format questions and such and perhaps a slightly more organized approach than a link in a forum, but I want to get a feel for people’s ideas. And to encourage EVERYONE to do this!
