Join the Douglas brothers as they are forced to watch the third in a series of unfortunate films, Maximum Overdrive.

The Earth is caught in the tail of a magic comet with the power to make all electric powered objects come to life
and murder the nearest human beings. Soon however, a handful of people trapped in a truck-stop realize that the
magic from the comet’s tail can not power the trucks’ propulsion systems; they realize this through morse code
communication with truck horns! And through the use of the before mentioned Morse Code, the
motor vehicles communicate to their human counterparts that they need us to refuel them with gasoline so that
they can continue to ride around and kill more people. Nuff’ Said!

Stephen King not only wrote the original screenplay, but also stepped behind the camera and directed
    - which would also prove to be the last time he made that mistake.
King even appears in the trailer and has a cameo at the beginning of the film. For a man who said that
Maximum Overdrive was a movie for “idiots”, his name and image are sure in it a lot.

If you like movies where children are murdered by Coke machines, ex-convicts are exploited by redneck
restaurateurs, and women are sexually harassed by Bible Salesmen, then this is the film for you!
