   It’s good, but I don’t think this is an actual commentary, unless I missed something. There doesn’t seem to be a countdown and they don’t comment on anything screen specific. They just play music cues in the background while talking about the film in general.

   Hmmm. I took the opening music cue as the start, but admittedly, this is one where I wasn’t watching along at the time. They seemed to me to be addressing the scenes in sequence and occasionally referencing specific lines, but maybe you’re right.

   I did the same thing, but they start the cue when they bring up the topic of the Overture. They did the same thing in their “Tron-tacular” special (not the commentary one); they added the cues when they brought up the topic.
   It’s still fun to listen to as you watch the film and is more on topic than some commentaries.

   So you’re saying that you tried to sync this one? And it didn’t work well enough to call it a commentary?

   I list all the Terror Transmission stuff because I really like what they have to say, but they edit the silent stretches out, so most of them don’t sync. It’s maddening.

   It didn’t really sync from what I remember (it was really late when I listened to it). They weren’t watching the film from what I could tell and were bouncing around in their discussion.
   I have no problem with it being listed, I just don’t think it was meant as an actual commentary (every other one I have listened to gives a countdown and they make it clear what they are doing). It sounds like their regular non-commentary podcasts. I wish it was a commentary and I hope they decide to do the next Kong movies as commentaries; I don’t know why they wouldn’t.

   How scene specific does a “commentary” have to be to qualify for inclusion here?

   For example, Commentary Tracks Stars are hardly ever screen specific. I assume they are playing the movie in the room, but there’s a lot of free association going on.
