Plot Summary: During their last 4th of July shindig together, four friends accidentally hit someone with their car. Fearing the end of their bright futures, they all make a pact to dump the body and keep this terrible night to themselves. Exactly a year later, a mysterious stranger is sending them threatening letters and stalking them, bent on some twisted form of justice.
Note: While I’m based in the US, Hayley resides in Australia, meaning that despite our best efforts, we occasionally run into some sync problems in the recording. Hayley’s DVD is a different region and format, which results in a slightly faster playback. While there are a few instances where Hayley gets ahead of me in the film, they are few and far between and we mostly manage to save face. Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the film on your DVD.
That meal looks really good. … Yeah, [her mom is] like, ‘How is it?’ And she just hasn’t touched it at all. She’s fileted it, basically. ‘Well, I dissected it. It looks okay.’— Sofa Dogs,

And this is another example of Ryan Phillipe just resorting to the yelling and overacting. … Would [his mom] have not come out? How loud are they talking about killing people?— Sofa Dogs,

The big mystery … ends up being this weird red herring that doesn’t mean a damn thing. [laughter] … It’s pretty much a whole 45 minutes, hour, of nothing that they lead you off on this trail for no reason.— Sofa Dogs,

I love that when she’s sees all the pictures and one of them’s from the parade that they just had that afternoon. When did the guy have the time to develop those pictures and put them up?— Sofa Dogs,

He should have written it in cursive and then there’d be a little smiley face. [laughter] … Maybe dot the I with a heart. ♪♫ ‘I still know.’ ♪♫— Sofa Dogs,
