Okay, I see what happened. I listened to this and also to DVDPodBlast’s Wild Wild West commentary on the same day and somehow added that as an addendum to this comment instead of the one I’d written for that commentary.

They discuss sharks vs other dangerous animals and for once Lynch does the heavy lifting with some good background.

The volume is up a little loud, and there’s also a bit of electrical interference from time to time (probably a cell phone too close to the recording equipment). They call Roy Scheider “Schneider” a few times and Martha’s Vineyard “vine-yard” rather than “vin-yird” at first.

They remark on the upbeat music at times. I love the upbeat score. It’s the film makers saying that this is still a sea adventure for the main characters. Towards the end, they’ve gone a bit sea crazy can’t see the danger they’re in until it’s too late.
