Mocktails presents our very first iRiff, The Lost World. The first Jurassic Park film was a terrifying thrill ride full of groundbreaking special effects. The sequel has, um, gymnastics and more bald men than a sports bar. It also has stuttering…lots and lots and lots of stuttering. Come join us as we discover the real villain of the film, puzzle over the fate of the ship’s crew, and bask in the aura of The Goldblum.

Being longtime fans of Rifftrax (and MST3K), we made a traditional-style riff. Only this time, no fences, no boundries, no safe place! Count how many times Mike says “In the book” and see which part of the film genuinely scares Laura thirteen years later! All this and much more, including a chat about shooting dinos in the pooper… wait, what?

Join distressingly recurring character Ian Malcolm, the smart-ass chaotitian, as he and his inexplicably ethnic daughter travel to Isla Sorna, where InGen had been breeding dinosaurs without the luxuries of electric fences or security systems or any of that nonsense… It wasn’t a great idea in retrospect, but it makes for an exciting setting in which to show off a brand new line of action figures and playsets! With all the brash showmanship of your drunken cousin Bruce wailing Queen’s “We Are the Champions” at an open mic, Steven Spielburg bounds through this thrilling adventure with class and dignity.
