I haven’t listened to this yet. I wondered if they were going to bite the bullet and do this one.
I have a soft spot for this film as I was very much into feudal Japan at the time. I think they could have made a better version of this where they encounter the original Foot clan. I always thought they could have revealed the rebels as the origins of the Foot. They could have even had an ancient Shredder that Oroku Saki based himself on. Also, they said on one of the other commentaries that the TMNT film ignored this and the second one, but the time scepter is seen several times along with what appears to be Lord Norinaga’s suit of armor.

Pretty good commentary from big fans with references to the comic.

Bruce Lee’s version of Game of Death didn’t have the main character being killed on a movie set. They added that plot after Bruce died (real respectable like). The original story is revealed in the documentary “Bruce Lee: A Warrior’s Journey” along with all of Bruce’s footage, which they edit together to better show what the end fights would have been without tinkering. Also, Bruce didn’t die on set, he had a reaction to pills while staying at a friend’s house.
I believe the 2000 “remake” Wings of the Crow is a student film. There is barely any info on it except for what is on IMDB and a really bad MS-Paint looking poster.

PS. The guy stealing a TV when Sergeant Albrecht is holding Eric at gunpoint is James O’Barr, the creator of the comic. Also, there is a CD with a commentary for the film by O’Barr that he used to sell on his site. I’ve always wanted to hear that.

Sorry to burst a nerd bubble guys, but you actually can’t see Sigourney’s bewb in the shot where the demon hands grab her. She is wearing a somewhat flesh colored spandex unitard underneath her outer shirt.

Great work from Shut Up. There's a lot of background from the official commentary and a fair bit of analysis. "Someone" listed out all the movies mentioned by Wright and Tarantino in their Hot Fuzz commentary? That was our friend Tysto.
