In the US, “carousel” and “merry-go-round” both refer to the carnival ride with horses and such, whereas a simple little metal one is always called a “merry-go-round”.

The Doctor doesn’t recognize the great William Hootkins as Zarkov’s assistant. The Denim Cowboy contributes frequently to a swear jar, which is pretty funny in itself. Like all Brits, they lapse into Doctor Who discussion from time to time. At one point, Denim Cowboy has a sudden brain aneurysm and claims that English rugby players would kick American football players’ asses. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The guy who is supposed to fall on his own sword is George Harris, who was the ship captain in Raiders of the Lost Ark. More recently, he had a small part in HP & Order of the Phoenix.
