Actually, most of the facts or trivia were read from the Wikipedia or IMDB pages. The reviews came from IMDB pages as well. I’m doing whatever I can to avoid “dead space” and at the same time trying to keep “relevant”. The reason why I have the movie audio loud is to help the listener know the point of the movie where I am at. I’ve heard commentaries where it is difficult to be synchronized. I might suggest checking out “Sudden Impact” or “Jurassic Park III” commentaries. I’m usually not good at analyzing unless I’m talking about a movie that has an “impact” or a movie I really hate.

Just sampled some of this. Lots of background, as usual (mostly reading from a movie book, it seems). No analysis. The movie audio is much too loud.

The “Fake Shemp” credits are a reference to the double used to complete Shemp Howard’s unfinished scenes in four shorts after he died in 1955. When Raimi needed doubles on The Evil Dead due to various actors leaving the project or not being available at the time, he credited them as a “Fake Shemp”. He now uses the Shemp credit for any doubles or stand-ins, and also for unnamed characters (Bruce was credited as “Final Shemp” in Darkman, where he played the final Darkman disguise). The new Evil Dead film also uses Shemp as a credit.

good commentary a lot of information about the film and compare them to the comic books and TV shows in other Superman / superhero film . all in all great commentary.

Very good work from Down in Front. They analyze it and compare it to other westerns.

They get off on a discussion about China in the middle for some reason, but it doesn’t last too long.

Pretty funny and insightful thus far. I’m only about 30 minutes into it but so far so good. I like the chemistry between the commentators. Also, the audio quality is excellent.

Superman fans should dig this.

A thorough and well-paced critique by the Minions here. Very interesting insight regarding the fate of ‘Nuclear Man’ and how this film compares to “Superman 3.” I laughed at times, and learned some things about Supes I didn’t know. Nice chat.

Just listened to bits of this to get a taste. The audio is perfect. House of El’s two big fans have a lot of fun with the fourth Reeve movie. Not as nerdy as you might imagine, and quite funny in parts.

Good information from fans of the comic books, altho the commentary is interrupted several times by phone calls and such, and the remaining commentator vamps lamely.
