Impossible Podcasters watch the fairly silly dino ep and give it a thoro meh. They give a pretty good analysis, but generally nitpick it to death in addition to complaining stupidly about the gender politics.

The Impossibles look at Who and have mixed feelings but mostly positive.

I don’t care much for the daleks either, but I think that they haven’t changed them enough. The daleks are perfect for changing their look completely.

Good work from Impossible, altho rather noisy. It is a bit scary. My 9-y-o nephew lasted 2 minutes, and my 9-y-o niece lasted 5. Commentary starts around 0:12:37, when they say "Um, yeah. So let's hit the button." (I guess.)

RFS gets back to commentaries with the season 6 starter after having seen the whole season. There's a fair amount of fluff, but the "sock it to me" discussion is hilarious. SS Minnow. The pictures on the table behind Nixon's desk are photos of the real Nixon (it's relatively easy to see on the Blu-ray). Nixon did indeed not meet with Elvis until 1970.

Cam is right that Amy says, “You and me, we ought to get a drink sometime… and married.” But the BBC America subtitles say, “You and me, we ought to get a drink sometime. I’m married.” Which baffled me until Cam explained it.

The Impossibles make their way thru the latest Who They discuss the treatment of religion, which they feel is slightly heavy handed, and blogger, which the feel is baldly unfair. The get a little mixed up between “faith” and “fear”. The rooms hold the things you fear so that you’ll fall back on faith, which allows the baddie to prey on you. Rory doesn’t have faith in anything (he doesn’t worship Amy; he just loves her; but Amy has hero worship for the Doctor). He does have fears, so he could find them in a room, but the baddie doesn’t want him because, without faith, he isn’t good food.

The Doctor says at the end that the machinery got stuck and the previous batch of people’s fears were left in the rooms. That’s why the clown is there, and probably the PE teacher.
