They love the film and sometimes fall into watching it for stretches. But they offer lots of background, references to the comic books, and comparisons to other movies.

They maybe give it a little too much credit. The first half is an awful lot like The Shadow, for example. And the villains aren’t all that good. Batman only has one modest fight with Ra’s al Gul, and that’s it.

Falafal is a vegetarian dish, often served in a pita, as in the movie.

I would think that, rather use the husky voice, a more important disguise for Bruce Wayne would be to disguise that slurred S speech impediment.

The “guy who was a voice actor in Thunderbirds and was a lot of military guys in the James Bond movies” is Shane Rimmer.
